Call to the Wall
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night…Isaiah 62:6
The call is to create a unified wall of prayer for the city of Buffalo and Erie County. The local National Day of Prayer Committee encourages all Christians to not only come together in prayer on May 7, 2009, but to be unified in prayer throughout the year.
As recorded in Nehemiah, the wall of Jerusalem was rebuilt section by section, brick by brick. Similarly, the wall of prayer surrounding WNY is built section by section, prayer by prayer. If your church, organization or ministry has a regularly scheduled time of prayer for Western New York, or is holding a regional prayer event contact WNYPrays to be added to the WNYPrays Wall.
